"Good Deeds, Exemplary People." VIA Weeks Photo Contest 2016

To all the shutter bugs out there, have you ever witnessed a good deed being performed by some really awesome kind souls that you wished you can celebrate their noble acts with the rest of the world? Now you can!

In conjunction with the VIA Weeks, the VIA department has launched a photo contest for all students who are keen to take part in the contest to snap photos showcasing the good deeds being performed by people around you. They can be your family, your friends, or members of the public. And the place can be anywhere, be it your home or outside. The theme of this photo contest is "Good Deeds, Exemplary People."

Next, you should write a short description or story about the photos to give context to your photos. You may then submit your entry by emailing your photos and write-up to: edpcce2016@gmail.com

The closing date for this contest is Term 2 Week 10 and winning entries will be showcased on our CCE-VIA Blog and gallery, and most of all, attractive prizes will also be given out to the winners!

So, do not wait anymore! Go out there and snap photos of some wonderful people doing really nice things for others and you may be the one who wins!

Reflections on CCE / VIA activities

During this morning's assembly programme, Miss Cheah has taken us down the memory lane to review the various CCE / VIA activities conducted throughout this year.

Please do pen down some of the thoughts that you might have. You could write about the positives experiences that you had while participating in one of these eveents. Or, your could point out the areas that you felt could have been done better. Better yet, you may even want to suggest future activitives and events that you feel that would have a big impact on the lives of fellow students in the area of CCE /  VIA education.

Wait no more! Give your comments generously and encourage your calssmates and friends to do so too. Let us hear what you have to say and let the whole school hear your voice. Do it now!
